Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

Bitcoin.diy respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Short version: we collect as little as possible.

What We Collect

Analytics (Plausible)

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. No cookie consent banner is needed.

What Plausible collects: page views, referrer source, country (from IP, not stored), browser, device type, and operating system. No personal identifiers.

Newsletter (Beehiiv)

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address through our provider Beehiiv. Your email is used solely to send you our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Affiliate Links

When you click an affiliate link, you're redirected to a third-party site. That site may collect data according to their own privacy policy. We log affiliate clicks internally (partner name and timestamp) for performance tracking. No personal data is included in these logs.

What We Don't Collect

  • We don't use tracking cookies
  • We don't use Google Analytics
  • We don't build user profiles
  • We don't sell or share data with advertisers
  • We don't use fingerprinting or any invasive tracking

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your email from our newsletter list (or unsubscribe directly)
  • Request information about what data we hold about you (likely nothing beyond your email if subscribed)
  • File a complaint with your local data protection authority
